Selection principles

According to the selection of control functions, various valves have their own functions, and their corresponding functions should be paid attention to when selecting.

According to the working conditions, the technical parameters of commonly used valves include nominal pressure, maximum allowable working pressure, working temperature (minimum and maximum temperature) and medium (corrosiveness, flammability). The technical parameters are consistent.

According to the installation structure. The installation structure of the pipeline system includes pipe thread, flange, clamping sleeve, welding, hose, etc. Therefore, the installation structure of the valve must be consistent with the installation structure of the pipeline, and the specifications and dimensions must be consistent.

Installation method

The valve with pipe thread connection is connected with the pipe thread at the pipe end, wherein the internal thread can be a cylindrical pipe thread or a conical pipe thread, and the external thread must be a conical pipe thread.

The gate valve with internal thread connection is connected to the pipe end, and the length of the external thread of the pipe end needs to be controlled. In order to prevent the pipe end from being excessively screwed in, the inner end surface of the thread of the gate valve of the top pressure gate valve is deformed, causing the deformation of the valve seat and affecting the tightness.

When the valve is connected with pipe thread, the hexagonal or octagonal part of the same end of the thread should be wrenched when installing and tightened, and the hexagonal or octagonal part of the other end of the valve should not be wrenched, so as not to cause deformation of the valve.

The flange connecting the flange of the valve and the flange of the pipe end is not only consistent with the specification and size, but also needs to be consistent with the nominal pressure.

When the valve stem and gate valve are found to leak during the installation and commissioning process, tighten the packing and press the nut, and pay attention not to apply too much force, so as not to leak water.

Since the beginning of the 21st century, some well-known domestic copper valve manufacturing companies have broken the conventional thinking and have the courage to innovate. They have developed a large number of new products, which has greatly improved the scope of application of brass valves in engineering applications.
